La Parade du Vivant is a travelling urban spectacle that transforms 15 underused sites across Geneva into temporary spaces for nature, encounter and celebration. Over 16 weeks, ten mobile landscape trailers move through the city, connecting neighbourhoods, green corridors and public spaces.
Eight trailers function as bioramas: mobile ecosystems inspired by four characteristic landscapes of the Geneva region. They combine local planting and biodiversity with water collection, climate monitoring and spaces for public interaction.
Two additional podium trailers host play, relaxation, workshops and events. Through this mobile form of temporary greening, the project reconnects Geneva’s public spaces with its regional ecology and explores how urban environments can become more biodiverse, inclusive and climate-adaptive
